Just like in many other places, neighbors look at each other's gardens and compare... Some are messy and perceived as messy, but have nice harvests for those who want to be self-sufficient and good for biodiversity, others have a stylish design where everything is cut to perfection, nothing is left to chance, but the diversity is not specifically amused by the garden, despite its eye-catching beauty for those who are interested in garden design with beautiful depth of field, sense of space and views for the viewer in the garden. Many gardens, no matter where in the country, are also relatively poor in edibles, even though there is room for both.. I have always had an interest in aesthetics in balance with sustainable design for food production, which I lack in many of the garden design methods I have found that either focus on aesthetics or on edibles and possibly sustainable. In 2020, work began on creating forest gardening according to the wonderful design method NADJA in Mrs Lewis Garden. The kitchen garden was given a new style, where the lands are given perennial vegetables and where color and shape were implemented for aesthetics. A new part of the forest garden was created using the method where co-plantings etc. have the division
