This course is for those of you who are curious about growing and like the idea of a more sustainable lifestyle. Maybe you want to create a forest garden? Learn more about growing in layers and gain increased knowledge about how the location affects your growing as well as great inspiration about perennial vegetables as well as other edible plants.

As tools and aids when creating this sustainable place, we use "permaculture design", which is a sustainable method.

The purpose of the course is to give you basic knowledge of permaculture design and forest gardening, to provide a structure that increases the basic conditions for success, for you, in your location.

During the course, we will help with advice and inspiration and share our own experiences regarding self-sufficiency and sustainable lifestyle as well as the creation of your own forest garden using the permaculture design method, and give you further motivation to continue with your creation.

Permaculture design with us

We love being able to harvest fruit, berries and nuts and perennial vegetables as well as creating places where we can hang out, have coffee, grill, play kubb and more. It is important to plan everything you want to get out of the space in your design. The course guides you all the way.

Course content in each Module

The course gives you support and knowledge from dream to finished design!

Module 1, Part 1

We go through the history of permaculture, you, your chosen location, and your personal dreams and desires for your chosen location.

Module 1, Part 2

We study the ethics, areas of operation & principles of permaculture, we work through your tools for creation.

Module 2

Visions, needs assessment of stakeholders on site (one or more) and selection of the key functions you want in your design.

Module 3

Cultivation zones, Conditions, Location data, Biodiversity and sectors, and Zones - Your place from pattern to detail!

Module 4

The Step-By-Step method for implementation + methodology to evaluate & develop your created design year after year. So that the harvest increases and the work decreases!

Module 5

We go through all layers, from the crown layer, the highest in the garden, to the lowest ground cover layer. We also study interplanting.

Module 6

Resources, Capturing & Storing Energy, Creating Systems & Design Cycles. Place Design Structure & Creation.
