Forest garden - a garden design that makes it easy to grow edibles in tiers in the garden!
Hello and welcome here!
A place for enjoyment and harvest! The art of designing a place where all your dreams are inscribed and where the design takes into account your budget and your lifestyle is a fantastic skill.

Hi there!
I am passionate about biodiversity, the land we live on and off, and our environment, and how we can together improve these important factors for human survival on Earth. There is an amazing amount we can do to improve the opportunities for biodiversity and the environment, in the work of spreading this information, Fauna Funga Flora was born.
Research studies have shown that tree and shrub-dominated cultivation systems such as the forest garden are structured can capture and store a lot of carbon dioxide while we get to harvest a fantastic amount of good from this flamboyantly beautiful food-producing garden design. At a low level, we can assume that 10 tons of carbon can be stored per hectare & year in Swedish forest gardens.
It's amazing that we can create a carbon sink in our own gardens. So important that more people see what many small streams can create. We simply have to inspire each other!
Another important factor I want to change is the view of self-sufficiency. In Sweden we have forgotten a lot of knowledge about cultivation and the landscape we cultivate in that was previously common knowledge in every home. Sweden has lost much of its previous degree of self-sufficiency, which has gradually decreased due to a lost understanding of the importance of having a strong and stable degree of self-sufficiency and a constantly increasing import.
I also think it is important to clarify the connection between lifestyle and future impact. In Sweden, Swedish bees pollinate our rapeseed fields for oil for our homes, they pollinate all fruit orchards, berry bushes in gardens and all flowers to create new seeds, they do this together with all other pollinators... Did you know that if you as a consumer choose to buy Swedish honey instead of imported honey, you are actively contributing to the biodiversity in Sweden. Think about that the next time you buy honey!
